Westchester County - The Town of Mamaroneck Town Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Forest City Daly - Mixed Use Development may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. A public scoping session on the proposed will be held on June 3, 2002 at 8:00 p.m. at Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 West Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck, NY 10543. The action involves Zoning amendments, special permit and site plan approval for the construction of a mixed-use development on a three-acre site on Madison Avenue in the Town of Mamaroneck. The proposed development seeks a 185-unit rental apartment building with structured parking. The project is located on Madison Avenue and is bounded by Madison Avenue, Maxwell Avenue and Byron Place in the Town of Mamaroneck.

Rockland County - The Rockland County Sewer District No. 1, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Western Ramapo Wastewater Treatment Plant may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the construction of an advanced wastewater treatment plant to serve the proposed sewer extension. The sewer extension includes the Villages of Hillburn and Sloatsburg, the unincorporated Town of Ramapo, the Town of Tuxedo, and the Palisades Interstate Park. The project is located in the Village of Hillburn at Route 17/I-287 interchange.
