Negative Declaration

Broome County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposal by Roland Springsteen & Son will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the expansion of an existing mining operation to mine up to 40' deeper. No mining below the water table is proposed and none is considered in the SEQR determination. The project is located south of Fordway Road, west of East Windsor Road along an abandoned D & L Right-of-Way, Town of Windsor.

Broome County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposal by Gorick Construction Co., Inc., Klepfer Mine Site will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the continued operation of an existing 15.1 acre sand and gravel mine. Mine was previously permitted to Michael Klepfer and expired on August 3, 1997. The project is located on the east side of Track Drive in the Town of Kirkwood.
