|Draft Scope And Public Notice|
Nassau County - The Planning Board of the Village of Plandome, as lead agency, has completed a Draft Scope on the application of Manhasset Glen II - Huntington Hebrew Congregations, project number P-7-98. The Draft Scope is available for public inspection and comment at the Office of the Village Clerk, 65 South Drive, Plandome, New York 11030 Monday through Fridays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Comments may be submitted in writing on the draft scope to the Village Clerk until May 20, 2002.
The applicant proposes to subdivide a parcel of land into ten lots, nine of which will be building lots within the Village of Plandome, and a contiguous 7.92 acre parcel located within the Village of Plandome, and a contiguous 7.92 acre parcel located within the Village of Plandome Manor to be divided into two building lots as shown on the plat entitled "Manhasset Glen II - Inc. Village of Plandome, Nassau County Preliminary Subdivision Map dated 5/6/98, revised 3/18/99 by Stephen J. Hyman, Consulting Engineer.
The project is located at the easterly terminus of Plymouth Road in the Village, and is designated as Section 03, Block 167, Lots 638, 103F, 103H, 687 on the Land and Tax Map of Nassau County, in the Inc. Villages of Plandome and Plandome Manor, Town of North Hempstead.

Suffolk County - The Planning Board of the Town of Huntington, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Melville Square II (Site Plan Application) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves removal of the two defunct one-story shed/utility buildings with associated accessory structures and old paved parking lot (formerly part of Eaton), and construct a 255,000 gross square foot four-story office building on a 19.34 acre (842,513.80 square foot) parcel located within an I-1 Light Industry zone district. The project is located on the northwest corner of Old Walt Whitman Road and Cottontail Road in Melville, within the Town of Huntington; designated as Lot 1 on the Map of Whitman Corporate Park, and indicated as parcel District 0400, Section 255, Block 01, Lot 002.1 on the Suffolk County Tax Map.

|Notice of Amendment to Draft EIS and Public Hearing|
Suffolk County - The Town of Southampton Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted an Amendment to the Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Planned Residential Development - Subdivision Map of Two Trees Farms. A public hearing on the Draft EIS Amendment will be held on May 23, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the Southampton Town Hall, 116 Hampton Road, Southampton, NY 11968. Public Comment Period ends June 7, 2002. The project involves the subdivision of a 113.97 acre tract of land into thirty-five (35) single family residential lots ranging in area from 37,138 square feet to 100,141 square feet and four (4) agricultural reserve areas totaling 61.51 acres. The project also includes the construction of a 20 foot-wide (50 foot right-of-way) country lane loop-street and two short cul-de-sacs totaling 6,470 linear feet for access to the lots. The subject tract is currently improved with two (2) existing residences, a private garage and a swimming pool; one (1) one-story employee quarters; two (2) two-story horse stables; one (1) combined stable and office building; one (1) riding arena; one (1) silo; two (2) one-story "shops"; one (1) playroom; and two (2) small sheds, and a polo field, all of which are proposed to remain. The project is located on the east of Hayground Road, south side of Scuttle Hole Road, and west of Long Pond in Water Mill (Hayground) Town of Southampton.
