SERP Action - Draft Negative Declaration

Erie County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Buffalo Water Board, as lead agency, has determined that the North Basin Rehabilitation and Flocculation, SRF No. 16771 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves rehabilitation and modifications to the existing below grade North Sedimentation Basin. The modifications are required to convert the existing Basin from its current use as a backwash sludge holding tank back to its intended purpose as a raw water sedimentation basin. The project is located in the City of Buffalo Water Filtration Plant at the Foot of Porter Avenue, City of Buffalo, New York.

Negative Declaration

Chautauqua County - The Town of Ellicott, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Herbicide Application will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the application of herbicide Aquathol-K at 3ppm to approximately 74 acres of Chautauqua Lake along Town of Ellicott shoreline and along navigational channel as approved in the SEIS/Plan for control of Eurasian Milfoil. The project is located along Chautauqua Lake in the Town of Ellicott.

Erie County - The Town Board of the Town of Evans, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed town-wide rezoning of properties zoned Community Facilities (CF) and Commercial Office (CO) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the rezoning of numerous properties from Community Facilities and Commercial Office classifications, which have been eliminated, to other more appropriate classifications. The project is located town-wide.

The action involves creation of defined use that is prevalent in the Village of Perry, however, through error and neglect have been omitted. The project is located on Route 246, Village of Perry.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Erie County - The Town of Orchard Park, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed United Church Home Society, vacant land. The action involves rezoning of 53-acres of vacant land to construct a full service life care retirement community. The project is located in the Town of Orchard Park on the southeast corner of big Tree Road and California Road.
