Region 4 - The Department of Environmental Conservation has determined that the Registry of Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Sites in New York State needs to be amended to delete site number 420010, known as the Starr Refinishing Site. This site is located in the Town of Durham, in the County of Greene, and is located at Route 145. The reason for deletion is:

This site has been properly remediated. No further action is required.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Columbia County - The NYS Office of Parks Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP), as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Adoption and Implementation of a Comprehensive Plan for Olana State Historic Site. The action involves the adoption and implementation of a comprehensive plan to guide the long term development and operation of Olana State Historic Site. The plan includes restoration of the main house and the historic landscape and the development of a new museum/visitor center which will display and interpret the work of Frederic Church, the Hudson River School of painting and related subjects. The project is located at Olana State Historic Site is located on Route 9G in the Town of Greenport, Columbia County.

Westchester County - The Pound Ridge Planning Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Pound Ridge Golf Club. The action involves the expansion of an existing 9-hole golf course to an 18-hole public golf course and the construction of a new clubhouse and new parking and maintenance facilities on a 175-acre property. The project is located on the west side of High Ridge Road in the Town of Pound Ridge.
