Project Description:
Envirotech of America, Inc. has applied for a Part 360 Permit to develop and operate a transfer station for regulated medical waste (RMW) to be located at an existing building at 40 Industrial Park Circle in the Town of Gates. Envirotech proposes to transport approximately 6 tons per day of RMW, using red bags and plastic sharps containers inside sealed and labelled containers, from small quantity generators for consolidation from small trucks to large trucks at the storage facility prior to shipment for disposal. The applicant has provided all required documentation including the Personnel Training, Contingency and Closure Plans. The application and SEQR documentation are available for review and comment at the NYSDEC Region 8 Office.
State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: A Structural-Archaeological Assessment Form has been completed. The proposed activity will not impact on registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures.
Coastal Management: This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

The applicant proposes to construct an additional 240 square feet of pile supported dock in addition to the existing 180 square foot pile supported dock in Freshwater Wetland RE-1 (Class I) within Irondequoit Bay, resulting in a total surface area of approximately 422 square feet. The project site is at Point Lookout, which is on the east side of Bayshore Blvd., with the access road being located approximately 2300 feet north of the intersection of Bayshore Blvd. and Bay View Road. Project Description:
This is a scour protection project for two existing highway bridges, designed to protect the bridge piers and abutments during flood events.  The applicant proposes to excavate accumulated gravel deposits from approximately 700 feet of Meads Creek and place heavy stone riprap along approximately 300 feet of the creek around the bridge piers and abutments. The project is located at the NYS Route 17 (Interstate 86) crossing of Meads Creek, just east of Exit 42, in the Town of Campbell.
