Negative Declaration

Albany County - The Town Board of the Town of Bethlehem, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Application to Establish a Planned Residence District, Proposed PRD No. 13 / Elsmere Avenue, Rosen Development Company, Inc. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an application to rezone a 52.75 acre parcel of land from Residence A and Residence AB District to Planned Residence District. The rezoning is requested in order to construct a 92 unit townhouse development for “empty nesters” consisting of attached single-family duplexes, with associated roadways and public utilities. Project development would impact approximately 30.21 acres of the site. Approximately 22.54 acres would remain undeveloped and under the control of a homeowners association. The project is located along Elsmere Avenue (NYS Rt. 335), north of its intersection with Feura Bush Road (NYS Rt. 910A), Town of Bethlehem, Albany County, New York.

Schenectady County - The Town Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Association for the Protection of Adirondacks will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an amendment to the applicant's previously approve site plan for an addition to the building located at 897 St. David's Lane in order to allow an increase in the building footprint from 3124 sq. ft. to 3900 sq. ft. and to move the footprint 2.5 ft. west and locate portion of the parking lot in the north side setback.

Schenectady County - The Planning Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Paradigm Realty Inc (major subdivision) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a major subdivision to construct 10 single family homes on 7.7 acres. The project is located at 2861 Troy Road and 2 Pinecrest Drive, in the Town of Niskayuna.

Schenectady County - The Planning Board of the Town of Niskayuna, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed General Electric - Global Research Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action consists of the construction of 159,632 square feet of new building (receiving building, C-Wing Laboratory, guesthouse), the renovation of the concourse entry, main entry and the commons building. This project also includes the demolition several outdated buildings on the 550 acre site. The project is located at 1 Research Circle, in the Town of Niskayuna.
