Conditioned Negative Declaration

Orange County - The Town Planning Board of the Town of Wallkill, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Johnson Lot Line Change will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice. The action involves a lot line change between two parcels. The project is located on East Main Street/Schutt Road in the Town of Wallkill.

Orange County - The Planning Board of the Town of Wallkill, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Currier and Lazier will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice. The action involves the placement of a Real Estate Office in an existing apartment building along with existing residential units on an approximate 4 1/2 acre parcel located in the HC Zone. The project is located on East Main Street and Fair Avenue in the Town of Wallkill.

Positive Declaration

Putnam County - The Town Planning Board of the Town of Patterson, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Watchtower Amended Site Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves construction of two new residence buildings, an office building, additions to the audio/video building and a new maintenance building. The current proposal will increase the building coverage at the site by an additional 172,800 square feet for a total building coverage of approximately 652,240 square feet. The project is located within the Town of Patterson on the east side of NYS Route 22, approximately 7/10 of a mile north of the intersection of Haviland Hollow Road.

Ulster County - The Board of Trustees of the Village of New Paltz, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Zoning Law Amendments may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the adoption of Zoning Amendments. The action will specially permit four additional uses in the Professional and Limited Business (PB) Zoning District: Hotels, Bed-and-Breakfasts, Instructional uses, and Life care or continuing care retirement community. All of these uses are currently allowed in the Village in other Zoning districts. The project is located in the PB Zoning district, Village of New Paltz.

Notice of Acceptance of Final EIS

Orange County - The Planning Board of the Town of Montogomery, as lead agency has accepted a Final Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Fox Hill Bruderhof Communities. The action involves a zoning amendment and an amendment to the Town of Montgomery Plan in order to utilize a 10-acre portion of the site for industrial purposes including warehousing and a biomass utility building. The project is located on Coleman Road and Route 208 in the Town of Montgomery.
