Negative Declaration

New York City (Brooklyn) County - The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed CNR Senior Housing will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a six-story building containing 70 units of housing for the low-income elderly and one unit for the superintendent. Eleven on-site parking spaces will be provided to serve the residents. The project is located at 86 Lefferts Place, Brooklyn.

New York City (Brooklyn) County - The City Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Boerum Place Rezoning will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves an amendment to the City zoning map to change the zoning designation of the affected area from C6-2A and C5-2A to a C5-4 zoning district, and a special permit pursuant to section 74-52 of the Zoning Resolution for a 215-space public parking garage. The proposed rezoning area consists of 157,276 square feet. The project is located on the eastern portion of three block fronts located between Joralemon Street to the north, Boerum Place to the east and State Street to the south within the Special Downtown Brooklyn District of Brooklyn Community District 2.

Conditioned Negative Declaration

New York City (Staten Island) County - The City Planning Commission, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Targee Plaza will not have a significant adverse environmental impact provided specific conditions are met. There will be a 30 day public comment period commencing with the date of this notice. The action involves rezoning of Block 2903, Lots 13, 17, 20 and 23 from an R3-2 district to an R3-2/C1-2 district for the development of a two story commercial building containing 5,150 square feet of retail and 4,500 square feet of office space with 32 accessory parking spaces on the subject properties and the demolition of three, 1-1/2 story, residential buildings and one automotive service station.

Notice of Acceptance of Second Supplemental Final EIS

New York City (Queens) County - The New York City School Construction Authority, as lead agency, has accepted a Second Supplemental Final EIS on the proposed Glen Oaks School Campus. The action involves modifications to the previously proposed and approved project. These modifications are to the Final Supplemental EIS issued in December, 2000. The modifications consist of the construction of additional access roads connecting Union Turnpike to the Glen Oaks School Campus, the construction of an entrance/exit to the campus on Commonwealth Blvd. for use only by southbound vehicles and the widening and reconfiguration of existing roadways on the grounds of Creedmoor Hospital. The project is located at 78-70 Grand Central Parkway North.
