Project Description: The applicant proposes to
construct a portion of a new Jr./Sr. High School access road
within the 100-foot adjacent area of State-designated Freshwater Wetland No. WR-4
(Class II). The project site is located approximately 500 feet northeast of Hambletonian
Avenue and approximately0.75 mile southwest of the intersection with Ward Road.
Approximately 0.72 acre of the 100-foot adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland WR-4 will
be impacted by construction of the southern access road. In addition, approximately 0.49
acre of federally-regulated wetlands will be filled elsewhere on the site for construction of
the school facilities. Approximately 0.60 acre of wetlands will be created on the site as
mitigation for impacts to federally-reguated wetlands.
The project will also ultimately
require the Village of Chester to receive DEC approval of
an Article 15, Water Supply permit for the extension of water service to the proposed
school.

Project Description: The Department has made
a tentative determination to approve this application to modify a
SPDES permit to increase an existing surface discharge from 4,000 gallons per day (GPD) to
9,100 GPD of treated sanitary wastewater into an unnamed tributary of the Wallkill River,
Class C, from the applicant's mobile home park. The project involves replacement of a failing
septic system with a new two-bed septic system and is being undertaken in conjunction with a
20-unit expansion of the existing 18-unit mobile home park and subdivision of an adjoining
13.9-acre parcel into eight single family residential lots. The project is located on the west side
of Nob Hill Road, north of the intersection with Jersey Avenue in the Town of Minisink,
Orange County. A draft permit is available for inspection and comment at the regional office; a
stormwater management plan has also been prepared and is available for review.

Project Description: The applicant has applied
for a permit to modify approximately 0.11 acres of the 100 foot

adjacent area consists of the removal of an existing driveway, grading for the new

No disturbance is proposed within the freshwater wetland proper. A stormwater

north side of County Route 72 adjacent to the County of Rockland.

Project Description: The applicant proposes to
construct a six inch diameter intake pipe for a dry hydrant within
Lake Huntington (Class B) for fire protection at the site of the new Sullivan West Central
School District High School. The project is being undertaken in conjunction with the
construction of a 140,000 square feet High School facility with athletic fields, paved parking
areas, and various stormwater drainage improvements including five stormwater detention
basins on a 71+acre site. The maximum area of disturbance within Lake Huntington is 2,925
square feet. The project will fill less than 0.5-acre of federally regulated wetland;
approximately 0.75- acre of new wetland will be constructed at the project site as mitigation.
The project is located on the north side of NYS Route 52 west of the intersection with Devil's
Road in the Town of Cochecton, Sullivan County. A stormwater management plan has been
prepared and is available for review.
