Erie County - The Town of West Seneca, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed construction of a Distribution Center will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of an approximately 143,000 square foot distribution facility within North America Center Industrial Park, West Seneca, New York.

Erie County - The University at Buffalo, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed State University of New York at Buffalo, Lee Road Development Master Plan may have a significant adverse impact on the environment and a Draft Environmental Impact Statement must be prepared. The action involves the development and implementation of a master plan to create a complex of housing, campus amenities and services on 52 acres that will link the Joseph Ellicott Complex with the Academic Spine on the State University of New York at Buffalo-North Campus. The complex, proposed for development in phases, will result in approximately 3,000 new beds of housing, a recreation sports center, health services; a hotel/conference center, approximately 2,500 new parking spaces; and a visitor center. Under the proposed plan, removal and relocation of the existing campus bookstore and student commons will occur. The master plan includes development or extension of utilities to accommodate the proposed complex's electrical, water, sewer, stormwater management, and public services needs. The project is located on Lee Road, between John James Audubon Parkway and Putnam Way, Town of Amherst, Erie County.

|Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS and Public Hearing|
Erie County - The Planning Board of the Town of Amherst, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Environmental Impact Statement on the proposed Gramercy Park Subdivision. A public hearing on the Draft EIS will be held April 18, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the Amherst Municipal Buidling, 5583 Main Street, Williamsville, New York. Written comments on the Draft EIS will be accepted until May 2, 2002. The action involves proposed construction of fifty-seven (57) lot subdivision and associated infrastructure on 61.07± acres of land. Entrance to the site is from existing stub streets Twilight and Bramblewood Lanes in the "Pines" and "Pines East" subdivisions. The project is located 9434 Transit Road (no frontage) Amherst.
