SERP Action - Negative Declaration

Wayne County - Pursuant to the NYS Clean Water/Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, the Village of Red Creek, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Red Creek Sanitary Sewer System (Phase 1) will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Village of Red Creek Sanitary Sewer (Phase 1) project will install approximately 3,100 Linear Feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer in the central core of the Village of Red Creek, along portions of Main Street, Canada Street, Church Street, and Cross Street. This project will provide sanitary sewer service to 30 homes, the elementary school and office, the post office, as well as 25 commercial businesses. This action is intended to provide sanitary sewer service to an area of the Village not currently served, and identified as exhibiting high rates of septic system failure and direct connections to storm sewers. This project is consistent with the Village’s long-range goal to provide sanitary sewer service to existing development not currently served within the Village limits. The project will involve portions of Main Street, Canada Street, Church Street, and Cross Street in the Village of Red Creek, Wayne County.

Negative Declaration

Orleans County - The Board of Trustees of the Village of Medina, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Rezone "Medina Industrial Park" property will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the amending of a zoning ordinance to place 2 parcels of COIDA land in the so called "Medina Industrial Park" in the "Light Industrial Zone." The project is located on the corner of Maple Ridge Road and Bates Road, Village of Medina.

Steuben County - The City of Hornell, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Home Ownership Assistance Program will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves grant assistance to enable qualified low and moderate-income households to become first-time homebuyers in Hornell. The project is located in the City of Hornell.

Yates County - The Village of Dresden, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Comprehensive Plan for the Village will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the first major revision (of the existing plan) completed within the past 30 years. The project is located in the Village of Dresden.
