Counties: All or portions of the following within the Adirondack Park: St.Lawrence, Essex, Oneida, Lewis, Clinton, Franklin, Herkimer, Hamilton, Warren, Saratoga, Washington and Fulton - The New York State Adirondack Park Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed, Update of 1978 Adirondack Park Agency policy regarding new telecommunication towers and other tall structures located within the NYS Adirondack Park will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The Adirondack Park Agency proposes to update its 1978 policy regarding location of new telecommunication towers and other tall structures within the Adirondack Park. The revised policy takes into account issues associated with the Federal Telecommunications Act of 1996 and the protection of the unique resources and characteristics of the Adirondack Park. The proposal follows opportunities for public comment and concepts used in the administration of the permit requirements of the Adirondack Park Agency Act and other authorities of the Adirondack Park Agency.

|Notice of Acceptance of Final Generic EIS|
Warren County - The Olympic Regional Development Authority, as lead agency, has accepted a Final Generic EIS on the proposed 2002-2007 Gore Mountain Ski Center Final Generic Environmental Impact Statement. The action involves the update to the 1995 Unit Management Plan/Generic Environmental Impact Statement. The Lead Agency has deemed the FGEIS as complete. Public comments on the proposed management actions (which include a long term replacement and modernization plan to restore all equipment, machinery, infrastructure and structures whose useful life is over or nearly over, trail creation and widening, lift replacement and lift construction [including a lift/trail connection to the Town of Johnsburg Ski Bowl Park], development of a tubing hill with a surface lift, and snowmaking equipment and related system improvements) are summarized and responses are provided. The project is located on Peaceful Valley Road, North Creek.
