The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation is offering training seminars in five locations across New York State. This year, the morning session dealing with Hazardous Waste Annual Reporting will start at 8:00 a.m. The afternoon session dealing with Hazardous Waste Manifests will start at 1:00 p.m.

Major changes have been made to the Hazardous Waste Reporting forms and reporting codes for 2001. Highlighted this year in the morning Hazardous Waste Reporting session will be the new Site Identification Form and the redesigned GM and WR Forms along with discussion on the completely new lists of Form Codes, Source Codes and Waste Management Method Codes. The afternoon Manifest Training session will include such items as the proper completion of a hazardous waste manifest, manifest distribution, exception reporting, discrepancy reporting and rejected loads.
