New Notices for ENB Issue of January 9, 2002: 1

This notice supercedes the notice for this project which was published in the January 2, 2002 issue of the ENB. Astoria Generating Company, LP, a wholly owned subsidiary of Orion Power Holdings, Inc. proposes to repower the existing Astoria Generating Station. The facility is located at 18-01 20th Avenue in Astoria, Queens and is located within a larger complex known as the Consolidated Edision site.

Legislative hearing sessions to receive unsworn statements will be held on February 11, 2002 at 1:00pm and 7:00pm. A pre-adjudicatory hearing Issues Conference is scheduled to be on February 25, 2002 at 10:00am. Filings for party status must be received by 4:00pm on February 19, 2002.
