Project Description: The action involves relocating a segment of trail on the north side of the Cedar River to connect the existing multiple-use recreational trail between Indian Lake and Blue Mountain Lake with a bridge to be constructed over the Cedar River. The trail relocation project was included in the unit management plan for the Blue Mountain Wild Forest, which was adopted in May 1995.
The project includes the removal of a total of 36 trees over three inches in diameter at breast height along the length of the relocated trail segment, a distance of approximately 850 feet.
This notice is given as required by Commissioner’s Organization and Delegation Memorandum #84-06.

Project Description: The project consists of a new commercial use involving the construction of a 40' x 50' commercial use garage for the storage of equipment and supplies used in conjunction with an electrical contracting business. In addition to the garage, four vehicles and other construction equipment and supplies will be stored outside adjacent to the proposed garage. The proposed project will be undertaken on a 0.50± acre portion of a 22.10± acre parcel owned by the applicant. Access to the 0.50± acre portion of the site will be via a driveway from Palmer Hill Road and from Tower Road. Project Description: Material change to previous projects involving the construction of 170 townhouse units in a Planned Unit Development district and a six-lot subdivision involving wetlands (Projects 82-240, 86-332, 97-40, and 99-274). The proposed project involves the expansion of the existing nine-hole golf course, located on one of the previously approved lots, to an 18-hole golf course. Construction of the nine additional holes will involve disturbance to an additional 33.5± acres of land and the construction of an irrigation system, including a dug out pond as a water reservoir for the irrigation system. Pursuant to the terms of the prior agency permits, no pesticides are currently used or proposed to be used on the golf course. The project does not involve any disturbance to regulated wetlands. Key issues are compliance with the Town of Queensbury Local Land Use Code and the Top O’ The World PUD, water quality, erosion and sedimentation, stormwater management, compliance with prior agency permits, aesthetic impacts and economic impacts.
