Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a 2432 square foot light industrial (computer refurbishing) facility on ~0.45 acres of a 1.06 acre lot in an area zoned and predominated by light industrial land use. The project will result in disturbance to 0.094 acres of the Adjacent Area of NYS DEC regulated Freshwater Wetland BR-16 (Class 2), which will be graded and maintained as lawn area. The site is located on the north side of County Road 85 (Brighton-Henrietta Townline Road) approximately 1/2 mile west of the intersection with State Route 15 (West Henrietta Road). Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Headquarters.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was not performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: None Designated
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management: This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.
Opportunity for Public Comment: Comments on this project must be submitted in writing to the Contact Person no later than Dec 28 2001.

Project Description:

The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a new permit for a surface discharge of 800 gallons per day of treated and chlorinated sanitary wastewater into Lake Ontario from the applicant's existing Nayadic treatment plant. The system was originally designed to discharge to a stone bed, however, seasonal high water conditions resulted in back up. The draft permit will allow a seasonal discharge from December through April. The draft permit is available at the NYSDEC regional office for review and comment.

The Town of Sweden proposes to extend the water supply and distribution system of the district into its extension #4 to take for use therein a supply of water estimated to average 1,600 gallons per day from the Monroe County Water Authority's (Brockport) Lake Ontario source. The project includes the installation of 1,040 lineal feet of 8-inch water main and appurtenances to serve residences along a portion of Lake Road in Sweden Center.
