Negative Declaration

Orleans County - The Town of Murray Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Crown Atlantic Company, LLC - Holley Cell Site will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves construction of a cellular telephone communications facility on a 5.74 acre site. The facility will consist of a 190 ft. tall self-supporting tower, six panel-type antennae, a 12 ft. by 30 ft. equipment shelter, security fencing, landscaping and an access driveway. All utilities serving the facility (electric and telephone) will be installed underground. The project is located on a 500 ft. by 500 ft. portion of tax parcel #76.00-02-038, Town of Murray.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft EIS

Schuyler County - The Town of Dix, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft EIS on the proposed Water and Sewer Districts, Adoption of Town Plan and the Creation of a Business Park. The action, as proposed, would create a water and sewer district and extend water and sewer infrastructure and service to Watkins Glen International and all properties desiring such service along the proposed route. The primary sewer and water infrastructure would be built in the road right of ways for County Route 17, Wedgwood Road and part of State Route 414 in the Town of Dix. The action also includes adoption of a Town Plan that addresses future development in the Town by assigning uses to different land within the Town. Further, the action also includes construction of a Business Park located near the intersection of SR 414 and Coykendall Road in the Town of Dix. The Business Park would offer parcels of land for sale with access to the sewer and water and would be marketed with the intent of attracting new employers to the area. The project is located in the Town of Dix.
