Project Name: Fish House Fish & Game Club Indoor Shooting Range

Project Description: Applicant proposes a new one-story, 3,300 square foot building to be used as an indoor shooting range (archery & small arms) and hunter safety instruction adjacent to the existing clubhouse. The shooting range would be used 3 to 4 days per week, 3 to 4 hours per day, primarily during the winter. There is an existing clubhouse, pavilion, and outdoor archery range and rifle range on the property that will continue to be used by club members and their guests.

Negative Declaration

Clinton County - The Town of Chazy Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Independent Wireless One will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves location of telecommunication equipment on existing telecommunication tower. Installation of 9'x12' concrete pad and 4' high cabinet inside of fenced area will complete all modifications. The project is located at 9486 Route 9, Town of Chazy.

Clinton County - The Town of Chazy Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Nortel Partners, Inc. will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves installation of twelve (12) panel antenna on existing 185' guyed lattice tower owned by VERIZON and associated equipment cabinet to be located within fenced area. The project is located at 9486 Route 9, Town of Chazy.

Clinton County - The Town of Plattsburgh Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Lake Champlain Land Trust Subdivision 2001 will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a two parcel subdivison wherein Lot 1 is a 2.39 acre parcel and Lot 2 is a 41.2 acre parcel proposed to be donated to the Town of Plattsburgh for merger with the adjacent Town of Plattsburgh Recreational Park property. The project is located on Cumberland Head at the east end of Seneca Drive.

Franklin County - The Village Board of the Village of Tupper Lake, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Village of Tupper Lake, Lake Street Sewer Rehab will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the replacement of an 8 inch gravity sewer which runs behind the homes on the west side of Lake Street and along the shoreline of Raquette Pond for the purpose of elminiating stormwater related surcharges. The major items of work include furnishing and installing approximately 1,700 l.f. of sanitary sewers, sizes 8 inch through 16 inch, precast manholes ranging in depth from 6 ft. by 16 ft., a 15 ft. deep 8 ft. wetwell, approximately 500 l.f. of 6 inch o.c. force main, 6 inch o.c. service laterals for approximately 30 units, connections between existing sewer lines and the new pipelines, any and all dewatering; restoration to original grade with subgrade material for final paving by the Village, installation of four duplex sewage grinder pumping systems, small diameter force main and any misc. work for a complete system. The project is located on Wawbeek Avenue, Lake Street, Village of Tupper Lake.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft Generic EIS and Public Hearing

Washington County - The Town of Fort Edward Town Board, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic EIS on the proposed Update of the Town of Fort Edward Master Plan. A public hearing on the Draft Generic EIS will be held on December 10, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the Fort Edward Office Building, 118 Broadway, Fort Edward, NY. The action involves updating the Town of Fort Edward Master Plan. Although the Plan was developed in the early 1960s, it was never formally adopted as the Town's official comprehensive Master Plan. However, many of the goals and strategies, including proposed zoning, were implemented. The project is located in the Town of Fort Edward.
