Project Description: Applicant proposes nine-lot subdivision involving shoreline and non-shoreline parcels adjoining Lake Champlain. The largest lot will be 5.9 acres and the smallest lot 0.306 acre. Six of the proposed lots will be conveyed as residential building lots served by public sewer and individual on-site water supply systems. Three lots will be created as non-residential lots; two of which will be transferred to the Town of Peru as non-building lots to increase the size of its lands on which a municipal wastewater treatment plant is located, and the other will be conveyed as a non-residential lot. Sixteen preexisting tourist cabins will be removed in the vicinity of the proposed five of the proposed single family dwellings. A former restaurant/dwelling building will either be removed and replaced with a single family dwelling or renovated into a single family dwelling.
