Project Description: The applicant proposes to construct various drainage improvements, including three detention basins, in conjunction with the construction of an 80,000 square feet supermarket with paved parking for 565 vehicles on a 20-acre parcel. The project will fill approximately 0.61 acre of federally regulated wetland; approximately 0.65-acre of new wetland will be constructed at the project site as mitigation. The Shoprite supermarket project is located on the east side of Dolson Avenue (NYS Route 17M), north of the intersection with County Route 78 in the City of Middletown, Orange County. A stormwater management plan has been prepared and is available for review. |

Project Description: The applicant proposes 55 single-family seasonal residences, including 46 new units and nine existing units, on a 35 acre site to be known as Lights of Life Residential Development. Also proposed is a central public water supply and distribution system with two on-site wells to supply domestic water to the units. The two new wells will provide a daily demand of approximately 20,280 gallons per day. The development is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Fraser Road and Anawana Lake Road, north of the Village of Monticello. The homes will be served by the Kiamesha Lake Wastewater Treatment System. |
