The applicant proposes construction of a 70' long, gabion basket retaining wall, utilizing 138 cu yds of rock fill, to prevent further shoreline erosion and protect the existing camp.

The applicant proposes a new sand mining operation on property owned by the Adirondack Logging Corp. The total area to be mined, during the five year life of mine, will be 4.9 acres. Excavation will be by front-end loader, and the sand will be screened on site. All areas disturbed by mining activities will be reclaimed by the applicant using the stock-piled topsoil and seeding with a conservation mix and white pine seeds to produce an area suitable for wildlife and forestland use.

The applicant proposes the construction of an 11 lot subdivision. To provide access to lot 10 the driveway will cross the 100 foot buffer of freshwater wetland C-23. To provide access to lot 11 the driveway will cross freshwater wetland C-23 (Class-II) and a tributary of the Kayaderosseras Creek Class C(t).
