Project Description:

The applicant proposes to construct a vehicle crossing through State-regulated Freshwater No. PV-25 (Class II) to provide access for a portion of a 17-lot, residential subdivision to be known as Meadow Ridge. The project site is located on the south side of Barmore Road, approximately 0.65 mile west of the intersection with NYS Route 82. The project involves the construction of a roadway 24 feet wide within the wetland and 100-foot adjacent area. The discharge structures of two stormwater dentention basins will also be located within the 100-foot adjacent area of the wetland. In total, about 2,400 square feet (0.06 acre) of wetland will be filled and about 23,400 square feet (0.54 acre) of 100-foot adjacent area will be disturbed. As mitigation, about 2,500 square feet (0.6 acre) of new wetland will be created on the site within the 100-foot wetland adjacent area.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
SEQR Lead Agency: TOWN OF LAGRANGE PLANNING BOARD
State Historic Preservation Act (SHPA) Determination: Cultural resource lists and map have been checked. No registered, eligible or inventoried archaeological sites or historic structures were identified at the project location. No further review in accordance with SHPA is required.
Coastal Management: This project is not located in a Coastal Management area and is not subject to the Waterfront Revitalization and Coastal Resources Act.

Project Description:

The New York State Thruway Authority has applied for a Freshwater Wetlands permit to install two 20-foot extensions on two existing 42-inch diameter culverts by placing approximately 800 square feet of clean fill in Freshwater Wetland #KW-14 (Class II) inorder to improve highway safety by expanding the shoulder of the road in this location. The project is located adjacent to the northbound lanes of the Thruway at milepost 86.2 in the Town of Rosendale, Ulster County NY.

Project Description:

Applicant proposes a 15 lot subdivision to be known as Riviera Shores on a 7.18 + acre parcel adjacent to Long Island Sound with access off Davenport Avenue; formerly the "Riveiera Shores Beach Club" facility. Development of two lots will require permit approval for activities within the regulated adjacent area of a tidal wetland. In addition, the sponsor proposes to remove an existing concrete terrace area, and sea wall with subsequent wetland restoration. A new sea wall with shoreline access will be constructed 80 to 150 feet upland from the existing sea wall. A portion of the access road and stormwater management system will also be constructed within the tidal wetland adjacent area.

State Environmental Quality Review (SEQR) Determination: Project is an Unlisted Action and will not have a significant impact on the environment. A Negative Declaration is on file. A coordinated review was performed.
