Negative Declaration

Wayne County - Town of Macedon Planning Board, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Fleischers Bagels Building Expansion will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 62,000+/- square foot building expansion, new driveway and curb cut and associated appurtenances including watermain extension and stormwater management facilities. The existing building is 41,000+/- square feet and is located in an area of the Town that is zoned industrial. The project is located at 1688 Wayneport Rd. Macedon.

Positive Declaration and Public Scoping Session

Seneca County - The Seneca County Board of Supervisors, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Seneca County Public Safety Building and Jail may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft EIS must be prepared. The action involves construction of a 60,970 gross square footage building containing a 128 bed facility, a Sheriff's Office, an E-911 Dispatch Center and a Department of Probation offices. Based on conceptual layouts, the project will utilize 12 of a 25 acre site, with 6.7 of those acres being impervious. In addition to the work on the site, sewer and water utilities will be extended to the site. Two sources, with two rights-of-way are being considered for the water, while one disposal location, and two potential rights-of-way are being considered for the sewer service. The both projects are located on the east side of Kingdom Road north of the intersection with County House Road in the Town of Seneca Falls.
