The District runs along the Military Road, Route 180 and NYS Route 3 for approximately 8,000 feet between the Village of Sackets Harbor and the Town of Hounsfield/Town of Watertown town line. |

Project Description: The applicant proposes to construct two parallel 115 kV transmission lines from the existing McIntyre-Battle Hill transmission line, a distance of approximately 4700' to a proposed substation (100,000 + square foot area) on the applicant's property on the east side of McAdoo Road, 2.5 miles from the Village of Rensselaer Falls. The line would be located in the buffer area of Regulated Freshwater Wetland RF-7, a 4900+ acre Class 1 wetland. |
