The excavated material will be used to construct a low embankment across Tributary 199b approximatley 3 foot high and 230 feet long to create a shallow water impoundment.for habitat enhancement. The project is located approximately 2000 feet south of the intersection of County Highway 33 and Clintonville Road, approximately 3 miles north of Milford. |

Project Description: The applicant proposes to construct a bank stabilization/beautification project at the shoreline of Canadarago Lake which is within the adjacent area of Freshwater Wetland SY-6. The project consists of using decorative Uni-lock block to construct a 120' long retaining wall along the shoreline and backfilling on the landward side. A portion of the bank south of an existing deck and stairs will be terraced to allow for planting areas. An existing concrete boat launch pad near the shoreline will be demolished and removed and that area will be filled with stone, topsoil, and seeded back to grass. The project is located off County Route 22, on Hillside Drive on the east shore of Canadarago Lake. |
