Negative Declaration

Albany County -The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed New York State Court of Appeals Hall, Modernization and Addition Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the modernization of the New York State Court of Appeals Hall, construction of a four-story, 18,400 gross sq. ft. addition, a parking structure for approximately 80 cars and minor site improvements. The project is located at 20 Eagle Street, Albany.

Schenectady County - The Schenectady County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Western Gateway Transportation Center Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The project involves: (1) the acquisition of an interest in an approximately 4 acre parcel of land located at the intersection of Erie Boulevard and State Street, bounded to the north by Liberty Street and to the east by N. Broadway, (2) the demolition of two of the existing buildings and the renovation of the third building, (3) the construction on the Land of three buildings containing in the aggregate approximately 96,000 sq. ft. of space, (4) the further construction of the Land of a parking garage to contain approximately 350 parking spaces and (5) the acquisition and installation therein and thereon of machinery and equipment. The project is located at the intersection of Erie Boulevard and State Street.
