The facility is requesting a RACT waiver from 6NYCRR Part 234 for the use of a limited amount of solvent based ink. The facility is proposing to cap out total facility volatile organic compounds (VOC) emissions to below 10 tons per year. The operation is subject to the provisions of State Facility specified under 6NYCRR Part 201-5.1(a)(2). The applicant operates and maintains infrastructure at the La Guardia Airport in Queens. This includes, but is not limited to, roadways, runways and taxiways. The air emission sources of the facility include boilers, water heaters, air heaters, snow melters, emergency generators and gasoline tanks. The combustion sources of the facility consume natural gas, #2 fuel oil and diesel fuel.
