Project Description: The applicant proposes to do various projects within the 100 foot adjacent area of NYS Freshwater Wetland A-11, a Class II wetland, in conjunction with the construction of a two-story self-storage building. The project includes the relocation of an intermittent stream, a tributary of Hunter Brook, a Class "D" water body; constructing compensatory wetlands; install various utility lines and storm water drainage systems; and grading and landscaping, portions of which will be located within 100 feet of Freshwater Wetland A-11. The project is located on a 3.8 acre parcel between Crompond Road (aka US Route 202) and Old Crompond Road, approximately 1,000 feet east of Hunter Brook Road. |
