Project is Located: Porter, Niagara County
Project Description:

The applicants propose to regrade approximately 200 feet of shoreline bluff at their property on Lake Ontario. A 200 foot armor stone revetment is proposed for the base of the area that is reshaped. An existing swale which carries surface water down the bluff would be protected from erosion with a bedding fabric and stone. Rip rap, historically protected an additional 125 feet of shoreline but is currently in a state of disrepair. The rip rap in this section of the property will be pulled landward and the revetment rebuilt with additional stone added as needed. The project site is located at 651 Lake Road.
