Project Description: The applicant proposes expansion of the existing mine area from 4.9 to 18.3 acres. This is part of a124 acre wooded parcel owned by Bruce and Brenda Caza, located on the east side of Rt 9, Town of North Hudson, Essex County. The operation will produce up to 50,000 cu yd of sand per year, with onsite screening. The mine floor will be maintained at least 5 ft above the groundwater table, and reclamation will consist of grading, seeding, and ultimately regrowth to pre-mining conditions. The applicant has also applied for a permit with the Adirondack Park Agency, APA# 2001-68. |

Project Description: Applicant proposes to construct two miles of private recreational hiking and biking trails on an 86 acre residential property. The trail system includes 11 wooden bridge crossings of Sessleman Brook (class C(T)) and its tributaries, and a corduroy/boardwalk structure across 66 feet of Freshwater Wetland #S-5 (class II). Combined impact area for all stream and wetland crossings is 0.06 acres. The project is located to the east of Braim Road, approximately 0.7 mile south of Wilton-Greenfield Road, Town of Greenfield. |
