Project Description: The Department has received an Air State Facility application from Carver Sand and Gravel Inc., for the existing sources and new sources (construction of an asphalt plant) located at the Masick Pit, Route 30, Schoharie, in Schoharie County. The facility will produce stone, asphalt and agricultural lime products. The applicant has agreed to permit conditions which will limit each of the three operating generators to 2000 hours per 12 rolling consecutive months. Therefore, the firm will not be subject to Title V. The permittee will be required to maintain records and report this data to verify compliance with permit conditions and limits. The draft permit and application are available for review at the Region 4 office. |
