Project Description: The applicant proposes to construct two 1-family semi-detached houses partially within the adjacent area of NYSDEC regulated Class 1 Freshwater Wetland NA-9 (Dongan Hills). The proposed houses are approximately 70 feet from the wetland boundary at their closest point. A five foot wide vegetative buffer will be established between the wetland and the development to reduce impacts. The project is located at the north corner of Patterson & Buel Avenues, Staten Island, Block 3747 - Lot 39. |
