Project Description: The applicant proposes to establish a snowmobile trail through Canada Creek State Forest and adjoining lands. Several tributaries of Canada Creek will be crossed but only one crossing will require an Article 15 Protection of Waters permit. As the trail proceeds north from the forest it will enter and pass through Freshwater Wetland LC-19. No structures need be established nor grading will take place in the wetland. Approval of the application is contingent upon an amendment to Adopt- A -Natural Resource Stewardship program which the Taberg Trailblazers have entered into with the department. |
