The applicant proposes to develop a 6.2 acre sand and gravel mine over a 5 year permit term on a 74.7 acre parcel controlled by the application, located .5 miles east of the intersection of NYS Route 81 and NYS Route 12 and 4 miles west of the Village of Alexandria Bay. The mine is intended for use in development of a golf course at the Bonnie Castle Resort property.

The applicant proposes to modify an existing mining permit for a permitted 64 acre sand and gravel mine on a 185 acre parcel owned by the applicant, located 200' northwest of US Route 11, 800' north of Ranch Road approximately 4 miles north of the Village of Antwerp. 3.9 acres would be added resultint in a new life of mine o 67.9 acres.

The applicant proposes to establish a snowmobile trail through Canada Creek State Forest and adjoining lands. Several tributaries of Canada Creek will be crossed but only one crossing will require an Article 15 Protection of Waters permit.

As the trail proceeds north from the forest it will enter and pass through Freshwater Wetland LC-19. No structures need be established nor grading will take place in the wetland.

Approval of the application is contingent upon an amendment to Adopt- A -Natural Resource Stewardship program which the Taberg Trailblazers have entered into with the department.

The applicant proposes to expand a 5 acre sand and gravel mine to include 9.5 acres for a new life of mine 14.5 acres on a 24 acre site controlled by the town. The site is located 3.3 miles east of the hamlet of Childwold, 11 miles north of the Village of Tupper Lake on the north side of NYS Route 3.
