The Town of Canandaigua proposes to extend the water supply and distribution system of the Canandaigua-Farmington Water District into its Andrew Road and North Road Extension and to take for use therein a supply of water estimated to average 6,860 gallons per day from the City of Canandaigua’s Canandaigua Lake supply. The project includes water main and appurtenances to serve 42 parcels. The application is on file at the NYSDEC regional office for review and comment.      

Applicant Rochester Gas & Electric proposes to rebuild a section of the utilities' Circuit #701 in the Town of Victor. The work will require some limited disturbance in the the regulated areas of wetland VT-2. A new, replacement line will be constructed along an abandoned railroad right-of-way (ROW) in the wetland adjacent area. Clearing of some woody vegetation will be required to facilitate this phase of the project, but will be the minimum amount needed to accomplish this installation. On completion of the new circuit, the existing, deteriorated steel towers within the wetland will be cut and removed. This work will be done from the railroad ROW, and will not require intrusion and/or disturbance into the wetland. The project site is the abandoned NYC Auburn Branch RR ROW, east of Rawson Road.

The Village of Bath has applied for a permit for a permissive water service area located adjacent to the Village in the Town of Bath. The project will provide water to the new school bus garage property via a new eight inch water line on Route 415. The area to be permitted will include properties that presently receive Village water.These properties front on Route 415 and are east of the former Bath - Hammondsport Railroad.

The applicant proposes the construction of an 8,000 sq.ft. building addition to an existing food processing facility partially within the 100 foot adjacent area of NYS regulated wetland MA-6. Also included is the construction of a +/-500 L.F. access road from an entrance on Gananda Parkway to the loading spaces at the rear of the plant. Disturbance to the wetland adjacent area is the minimum necessary to construct the project. Erosion and sediment controls are included in the project plans. There will be no direct loss of wetland acreage. The project site is on the south side of the Gananda Parkway, east of the Blue Heron View intersection.

Applicant proposes to construct potholes and level ditches in NYS Wetland ON-11 (II) at his property located west of Ontario Center Rd. and north of Paddy Lane in the Town of Ontario. Project is being done under Natural Resource conservation Service's "Wetland Reserve Program". Approximately 4 acres of open water will result along with the creation of nesting islands within the wetland.
