The applicant proposes construction of a 48' reinforced concrete retaining wall, with an additional 60' of rock rip-rap, along the Saranac Riverbank to protect an electric transmission line tower. The project is located at the end of Pond Street, on property owned by Stephen Brodi.

The City of Plattsburgh Local Development Corporation proposes to replace the existing rip-rap and sheet pile bulkhead sections of the Lake Champlain Tour Boat Berth with 150 lineal feet of reinforced concrete retaining wall. The project site is located at the end of Dock Street, on property owned by the Delaware & Hudson Railway, Inc.

The applicant proposes to divert a section of Caldwell Brook back to its original channel by using stone from the adjacent farm-field. The abandoned channel will be back-filled using material excavated from the original channel, and a small, pond will also be created.

The Department proposes to construct a multiple-use recreational bridge over the Cedar River at a location northwest of the Hamlet of Indian Lake. The Cedar River is designated as a Recreational River at this location. The bridge will be constructed using two laminated wood girders and will be 103 feet in length with an 8 foot wide wooden deck. The bridge will rest on shoreline abutments consisting of either rock-filled timber cribs or poured-in-place reinforced concrete structures. If the concrete abutment alternative is selected, exposed surfaces will be faced with wooden planks. The bridge will be of sufficient height above the river so as not to interfere with navigation. The purpose of the project is to provide a safe means of crossing the river for snowmobilers and other recreational users of the existing snowmobile trail in this area. The bridge is part of an overall project to improve and relocate sections of the snowmobile trail as described in an approved Unit Management Plan (UMP) for this area.

Remove trees and stumps from a 70' X 140' area adjacent to Freshwater Wetland B-42 (class1) and regrade the area to a level condition to create a horse paddock.

Applicant proposes to construct a driveway on an existing farm road, crossing a portion of Freshwater Wetland #C-48 (class II) and a stream (class C(TS) tributary of Kayaderosseras Creek). Work involves fill of approximately 0.1 acres of wetland and 0.13 acres of wetland adjacent area. Three culverts will be installed in the stream The driveway will provide access to a proposed single family residence on an upland area. The project is located on the south side of Wilsey Road, near the intersection of North Creek Road, Town of Greenfield.

Applicant proposes to improve an existing road that crosses 100 feet of Freshwater Wetland #M-55 (class II). Work at the wetland crossing includes 1500 cubic feet of roadway fill, replacing an existing culvert, and installing utilities in a roadside trench. The road will provide access to a proposed residence on an upland area. The project is located to the east of Goode Road, approximately 0.4 miles south of Galway Road, Town of Milton.
