Project Description: As an element of the removal of an existing cottage and the construction of a new single family residence, the applicant proposes to construct a new 75' concrete breakwall, resulting in ~525 sq. feet of fill below the mean high water elevation (MHWE) of Conesus Lake. In order to equally mitigate the loss of littoral zone, the applicant proposes to remove 48' of a concrete beakwall which currently exists below the MHWE, and replace it ~12 feet landward. The new lake bottom area will be graded with appropriately sized washed gravel. Application materials are available for public review and comment at the NYS DEC Regional Headquarters. |

Project Description: The applicant has a new facility know as the Center for Fiber Optic Testing located to the north of Science Center Drive. A wetland permit application has been submitted for the purpose of discharging stormwater from the developed facility to wetland CN-2 . Corning Inc. will maintain all drainage structures including the stormwater treatment structure to be located in the regulated wetland buffer zone. The stormwater discharge is located adjacent to the wetland that Walmart was required to construct for their commercial development. The NYSDEC plans to issue the permt. |
