The applicant proposes to place three feet of fill on less than one half acre of a six acre lot located on Wallace Hill Rd, to provide a suitable site for construction of one dwelling. The area of fill will be partially within and adjacent to a regulated wetland.

The applicant proposes to excavate 2 "potholes" within NYSDEC Freshwater Wetland M-73 (class I) and dispose of the excavated material within the 100 foot regulated buffer. Total amount of excavation will be approximately 370 and 300 cubic yards respectively.

The project is proposed to repair and stabilize a washed-out sixty foot section of stream bank on an unnamed tributary of Stony Creek. Using four foot boulders between the stream and the bank, build a six to eight foot high wall, stabilize the remaining bank with rip-rap to the top of the slope and backfill as necessary to retain road grade.

The applicant proposes to stabilize approximately 400 feet of eroded streambank on the Battenkill. This biostabilization project involves cutting trees from the top of the bank to create a 10 foot width for equipment access, shaping the bank as close to a 2-to-1 (2:1) slope as practical, installing log revetments and root wads as toe protection, hydroseeding the upland bank including the top terrace, planting low growing shrubs on the top terrace and mulching the entire site. The project is located off of Tracy Road, approximately .2 miles south of Route 29.
