The applicant proposes to install and operate a temporary deep well dewatering system to facilitate construction of storm sewers in Springfield Gardens. Approximately 1.3 million gallons per day of dewatering discharge will be directed to Thurston Basin. The project site is bounded by 147th Avenue on the north, Rockaway Boulevard on the south, 184/184th Streets on the east and Farmers Boulevard on the west.

The applicant proposes to install and operate a temporary deep well dewatering system to facilitate construction of sanitary sewers in Dillion Street and 112th Road. Approximately 1.64 million gallons per day of dewatering discharge will be directed via storm drains to Thurston Basin.

The applicant proposes to demolish an existing one-family house and accessory structures and construct three attached one-family houses within the adjacent area of NYSDEC regulated Class 1 Freshwater Wetland NA-10 (Oakwood Beach). The wetland is on the opposite side of a paved street from the project site which is located on Tarlton Street between Cedar Grove Avenue and Mill Road, Staten Island Block 4792 / Lot 111.
