The applicant proposes to construct a single family dwelling, garage, pool, deck, septic system and storage building; the applicant proposes to restore an exisiting barn and green house; the applicant proposes to replace existing dock. The property is located on Duck Pond, FWW R-11, on White Brook Drive, Riverhead, Town of Riverhead.

The applicant proposes to hydraulically dredge a 2300 linear ft. navigation channel, 50 ft. wide and 100 ft. wide in the turn-around area, to 5 ft. below apparent low water. Resultant 15,600 cubic yards of dredge spoil will be pumped across Shinnecock Bay where the dredge pipe will make landfall at Road C and then be pumped across Dune Road and the beach to the intertidal zone where it will be discharged to the Atlantic Ocean. Sediment/erosion control measures have been incorporated into the planning; this includes restoration of all disturbed areas with appropriate native species; use of strawbales and snow fencing to prevent sedimentation; and the use of a baffle at the discharge/ocean end of the dredge pipe to prevent scouring. The proposal is located in East Pond (Old Fort Pond), Shinnecock Bay, Road C, and the Atlantic Ocean, Town/Village of Southampton, County of Suffolk.

The applicant proposes clearing and ground disturbance within the 100 adjacent area of a regulated freshwater wetland and within 290 feet of tidal wetlkands. The clearing and ground disturbance are associated with a driveway and the construction of a dwelling. The proposed dwelling is beyond the jurisdiction of Article 24 (Freshwater Wetlands Act) and Article 25 (Tidal Wetlands Act).
