The applicant proposes to apply the aquatic pesticide Aquathol K, EPA Reg. No. 4581-204, to 0.95 acres of the Brockport Yacht Club boat basin in Sandy Creek, Freshwater Wetland HM-1 (Class I), in order to control Eurasion Water Milfoil. The Brockport Yacht Club us located at the terminus of Sandy Harbor Road, approximately 0.10 miles due north of the Lake Ontario State Parkway. For the protection of riparian uses, applicant must certify that the affected riparian users within 1/2 mile have been notified of the treatment. The Village of Clyde has submitted an application for a new 300 gallon per day drinking water well located in the Town of Galen on the south side of the Travell-Knapp Corners Road( County Route 247) approximately 1500' east of Fergusons Corners. The well is located near the Villages existing wells. An existing well at this general location will be abandonned. Another non-operating well at 10407 Route 31 west will be closed. A wellhead protection plan will be prepared for approval by the New York State Department of Health and it will relate to measures to protect groundwater quality in the well field.
