The Department has made a tentative determination to approve this application for a permit to discharge no more than 10,000 gallons per day of stormwater to groundwater. The stormwater will be treated through an oil/water separator and directed into a leaching basin. The facility had a previous permit which expired and is no longer valid. A draft permit is available for review at the regional DEC office. The facility is located at 45 Intersection Street, Town of Hempstead , Nassau County.

Applicant proposes to improve an existing golf course by excavation of upland areas to increase open water within Howells Creek, installation of a bridge across the creek, removal of Phragmites along the creek, shoreline stabilization along Great South Bay and tee, green and fairway improvements. The area along Howells Creek will be replanted with tidal wetland and salt tolerant plant species. Bulkhead reconstruction as well as a new portion of bulkhead is proposed landward of Average High Water to stabilize the shoreline. Property is located on 29 Bellport Lane, Bellport, Village of Bellport, Town of Brookhaven.

Applicant proposes to subdivide a 10 acre parcel of land into 5 residential building lots. The resulting 5 lots will vary in size from 14, 908 sq. ft to 37, 946 sq ft. One .31 acre parcel and one 3.05 acre parcel will be dedicated to the Town of Smithtown for parkland purposes. The property is located on east side of Landing Avenue, Town of Smithtown SCTM# 0800-22-1-7.
