Project Description: The project consists of a three-lot subdivision of 27.46± acres involving wetlands and construction of two single family dwellings. The third lot is developed by a preexisting single family dwelling that will be repaired. Each of the single family dwellings will be served by individual on-site water supply systems and wastewater treatment systems. Lot no. 1 is 8.01 acres in size, Lot no. 2 is 7.43 acres in size and Lot no. 3 is 12.0 acres in size. To avoid wetland impacts, access to the building site on Lot 3 will be via an easement on a lot also owned by Dickson and adjoining the project site on the north.

Project Name: Independent Wireless One

Project Description: Applicant proposes a new Major Public Utility Use consisting of the construction of a digital wireless communication antenna to an existing 56 foot high, 80 foot diameter municipal water tank owned by the Town of Queensbury Water District. The proposed antennas would be attached to the sides of the tank and would not extend above the tank. The project would also involve the construction of a gravel access drive, parking area (12' wide) and equipment pad and radio cabinet. The proposed facility is primarily designed to provide cellular telephone service to an area outside the Adirondack Park. Secondarily, it will also provide service to a small portion of the Park that is already serviced by an existing cellular telephone service facility located outside the Park.

Warren County - The public scoping session for the proposed North Queensbury Wastewater facilities portion of the Warren County Sewer Project, published in the August 8, 2001 issue of the ENB, scheduled to be held on August 22, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. has been postponed and is rescheduled for August 30, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the North Queensbury Volunteer Fire Department, Route 9L, Cleverdale, New York.
