Project Description: The project consists of the demolition of a dilapidated hunting and cabin and construction of a replacement hunting and fishing cabin in a new location. The cabin will be a 24' x 28' in size and will be served by an outhouse. There is no electric service on Goldsmith Road. The new cabin will be further from the North Branch of the Saranac River, a study river in this area, from which it will not be visible due to distance and dense vegetation.

Project Name: Beneficial agricultural use of harvested water chestnut plant material

Project Description: Waste disposal area: As part of the 10-year Lake Champlain water chestnut harvest program, the harvested plants would be stockpiled, spread and incorporated into 11.2 acres of existing agricultural fields as a beneficial use of the material. The rate of application would not exceed 3 inches or 12.8 dry tons per year per DEC guidelines. Up to 29 truck loads per day from July through mid-September would occur. The material would be disced into the soil between September 1 and October 15 each year.

Saratoga County - The Saratoga Springs City Council, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Adoption of Amendment to the Comprehensive Plan will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. These amendments revise the policy guides and the Development Plan Map for the future physical development of the City. The project is located in the City of Saratoga Springs.
