Broome County - The Town Board of the Town of Chenango, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Town of Chenango Digester Tank Cover will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. A Public Hearing will be held on July 2, 2001 at 7:30 p.m. at the Town of Chenango Town Hall, 1137 Front Street, Binghamton, New York. The action involves addition of a domed cover and ventilation system to digester tank at the Northgate Sewage Treatment Plant. The project is located at Northgate Plaza, Front Street, Binghamton, New York.

Cayuga County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Grant L. Perry - Rolling Hills Pond Sand and Gravel Mine will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves mining of a previously mined area, for an 11.85 acre sand and gravel mine, on a 94.4 acre parcel of land owned by the applicant, Mr. Grant Perry. The estimated life of mine is 10 years. Reclamation calls for a pond to be constructed. The applicant proposes Monday to Friday operations from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On-site processing of material is included in the proposal. (It is exempt from the need for a DEC Air State Facility Permit). Mining will be conducted by Rasmussen Gravel Products. The project is located on the northeast corner of the Town of Sennett, Cayuga County and is approximately 1000 feet south of Chatfield Road and 700 feet east of Baker Road.

Onondaga County - The Town Board of the Town of LaFayette, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordinance Regarding Regulation of Horses will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves adoption of an Ordinance which regulates horse stables within the Town of LaFayette. The project is located in all agricultural-residential districts in the Town of LaFayette.

Tompkins County - The Planning Board of the Town of Ithaca, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Eco Village at Ithaca Second Neighborhood Group and Amendment of Special Land Use District will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves site plan approval and subdivision approval for the proposed development of a Second Neighborhood consisting of 30 +/- dwelling units and a common house and the amendment of a Special Land Use District to be applied to the overall EcoVillage property on Town of Ithaca Tax Parcel No’s. 28-1-26.2 and 28-1-26.8, totaling 176 +/- acres.
