Niagara County - The City of Niagara Falls Office of Environmental Services, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Sleep Inn Hotel Project will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of a 2-story, 60-room hotel with parking for 80-cars. The project is located at 6611 Buffalo Avenue, adjacent to the Riverview Trail, Niagara Falls.

Erie County - The Town of Orchard Park, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed United Church Home Society may have a significant adverse environmental impact and a Draft EIS must be prepared. A public scoping session will be held on Friday, July 20, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. in the Orchard Park Municipal Center, 4295 South Buffalo Street, Orchard Park. The action involves the rezoning of approximately 53 acres of land to construct a full service life care retirement community. The project is located on the southeast corner of Big Treet Road and California Road, Orchard Park.
