The applicant proposes to fill and shape eroded stream banks along Clear Creek using material removed from an approximate 125 lineal foot gravel bar at the same location. The gravel will be removed by a skimming type operation and all removal will occur above the normal low water elevation of Clear Creek at the site. Additionally, to direct high water flows away from the applicant's home and other structures on his property, Mr. Lawrence proposes restoration of an overflow channel and, using material removed from the overflow channel, construction of a 2 foot high berm along the bank of Clear Creek. The project is located at 11240 Route 98, approximately 800 feet east of the intersection of Sandbank Road and Route 98.

The applicant proposes to construct a 80-foot long by 20-foot wide gravel road from Alder Bottom Road across the width (approximately 68 feet) of Freshwater Wetland No.NA-3, with a 4-foot by 6-foot squash culvert to carry Alder Bottom Creek. The road will include an overflow area to carry flows in excess of a 2-year storm. The project location is on the applicant's property, east of Alder Bottom Road, about 5,332 feet north from Leon Road (Cattaraugus County Route 6).

The applicant proposes annual removal of sediment depositions along a 900 ft. stretch of Thatcher Brook to maintain channel capacity and reduce potential for flooding. Excavated material is to be stored above the east stream bank adjacent to the village water well and used for public works maintenance projects. The project site is on the downstream side of Hill Street in the Village of Gowanda.

The applicant proposes to fill and shape approximately 275 lineal feet of eroded streambank along Elton Creek using material removed from a gravel bar at the same location and install rock rip rap for further protection. The proposal is located approximately 600 feet south of Mill (West) Street and 200 feet west of NYS Rt. 16 in the Village of Delevan.
