Greene County - The County Legislature of the County of Greene, as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Greene County Office Building will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves the construction of an approximately 100,000 sq. ft. County Office Building and demolition of existing structures on approximately 3.52 acres of land. The project is located on Main Street and Church Street, Catskill.

Public Scoping

Delaware County - The NYS Department of Transportation, as lead agency, will accept comments until July 20, 2001 on the proposed NY Route 17, Hale Eddy - Hancock project. The action involves the construction of a new controlled access freeway near the hamlet of Hale Eddy for a distance of about 11.3 kilometers. The project is located in the Towns of Deposit and Hancock.

Notice of Acceptance of Draft Generic EIS and Public Hearing

Rensselaer County - The Rensselaer County Industrial Development Agency, as lead agency, has accepted a Draft Generic EIS on the proposed Mill Creek Commerce Park Conceptual Plan. A public hearing will be held on the Draft Generic EIS on July 10, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. at the East Greenbush Town Hall. A public comment period will start on June 20, 2001 and end July 27, 2001. The action involves the development that can accommodate 1.35 million square feet of commercial, office and light industrial development. Parking for approximately 7,500 cars may be created and 6,000 jobs can be accommodated in the Commerce Park. The project is located between Third Avenue Extension and Red Mill Road at I-90, Town of East Greenbush.
