Project Description: Project sponsor proposes to install floating dockage for 99 boats on Irondequoit Bay, construction of an access road and parking area for 17 vehicles, and install stormwater management system as part of the upland residential development called "WillowPoint". The project is located within the NYS Freshwater Wetland RE-1 (Class I) and the associated 300 ft. extended adjacent area. The project is also located within a Natural Protective Feature Area subject to the Department's Article 34 Coastal Erosion Hazard Area Regulations. Stormwater will discharged to an existing stormwater management system constructed for the upland residential development. This system will be upgraded to address runoff from the paved road surface and discharge to a lagoon area at the bottom of the slope adjacent to Irondequoit Bay. The project is located off Willowpoint Way west of Bay Road on Irondequoit Bay in the Town of Webster. |

Project Description: The applicant Rochester Gas & Electric (RG&E) proposes to construct a new 34.5 Kv overhead electric transmission line between two existing substations to improve transmission reliability for northern Ontario County. The project will run within the Lehigh Valley Railroad right-of-way (ROW), between RG&E substation 154 in the Village of Victor and station 127 in the town of Farmington, on the west side of Hook Road. A portion of the line (+/-4,000 L.F.) is in the adjacent area of NYS regulated wetland CG-2, with a smaller area along Hook Road, (+/-500 L.F.) in the wetland proper. Construction of the line will not require fill in either the wetland or adjacent area, and disturbance will be limited to clearing of a transmission line ROW of approximately 25' in width. |

Project Description: The applicant proposes to add approximately 5.66 acres to the current 22.76 acre surface sand and gravel mine on Texas Hollow Road in the Town of Catherine The project site is the applicant's property consisting of a 202.5 acre parcel. The mine is intended to operate as a traditional surface extraction of unconsolidated gravel materials. Mining is not proposed for below the local water table. Excavation will be done by mechanical equipment, standard for sand and gravel mining operations. Material processing (screening) is proposed for the site. Final reclamation will restore the site to agricultural use. Reclamation will include the replacement of stockpiled topsoil, and re-seeding with an approved USDA SCS seed mixture. The total reviewed Life-of-Mine area is 28.42 acres. |
