Project Description: The applicant proposes to stabilize a section of County Route 40 highway embankment adjacent to Hutchins Creek, approximately 700' southwest of the Village of Massena. The project will involve relocating approximately 300' of an oxbow in Hutchins Creek approximately 30' to the northwest of its present location and away from the highway embankment. Stone fill will be placed in the displaced stream channel and excavated material from the new channel section will be removed to an upland location. |
